Our cabin has a Smart Lock in place so you can go and return as you please without having to call the host, and a physical deadbolt locks for your peace of mind. There are also locks on bedroom doors, and our cabin boasts of having our own private entry.

You can enjoy working remotely in our area as we are located in the mountains, and there are no to low levels of outdoor noises that can disturb you and your conference calls. We use the Starlink Internet, you will be able to access emails, surf the web, Zoom call, etc. There can be an occasional internet outage due to severe weather. We do have a laptop friendly workspace, and if it’s your cup of tea, you can work on the patio for that optimal work from cabin experience!

We've have parked everything from a small coupe to a large moving truck in the driveway without issue. 2-4 vehicles can park in the driveway. Additional parking for 1-2 vehicles is available along the road. Please don't block the road or neighboring driveways.

Pets are welcome only at Stargazer Lodge. We have a 75 kg weight limit, and require pets to be non-aggressive with documented proof. Service animals and Emotional Support Animals must have valid identification.

We encourage guests to check all the closets, drawers, and under the beds for personal items. However, should there be personal items left by the guests, we will log the items for monitoring and contact you immediately to make arrangements on how to claim your property.

Our cabins can accommodate up to 12 guests. We have 3 Private Master King Suites each with an en-suite bath. Each suite boasts 1 king sized bed, and our game room has 6 twin sized beds.

Our cabin boasts a well equipped well stocked kitchen! From preparing light meals to cooking a full Christmas dinner, our goal is to include anything you may need! You don't want to miss the fresh roasted organic fair-trade coffee or local treats! Sit down to eat at our authentic live edge wood table with seating for 12 or the kitchen island. Kitchen amenities include: an electric cook-top & oven stainless-steel appliances blender toaster crock pot Dutch oven stockpot Instant Pot duo ricer cooker Appliances Dishwasher tablets are included. Simply add tablet, choose wash settings, and press start.  The full sized refrigerator includes an ice and water dispenser in the door. You should not need to adjust any settings. If you run into any difficulties (e.g. it's not cooling efficiently), please let us know.  The stove is a five burner gas hob, and the electric oven and grill is double width.  French press Coffee Maker Pour over Microwave and Toaster Ice Maker Blender Pots and pans Dishes and utensils Basic spices are included Please know that we do not have ziplock bags, Saran wrap, and/or tin foil. 

Yes, we do! We have a washing machine and clothes dryer, clothing storage, and hangers for your needs. You can also opt for local laundry shops, where you can find the contact numbers on the directory.

We utilize enhanced cleaning practices, and make sure all surfaces are deeply cleaned and disinfected before the arrival of guests. Our linens and towels were washed using high temp to make sure that all viruses and bacteria are eliminated. We encourage our guests to still adhere to health protocols.

The roads to the cabin can be curvy and narrow. The main entrance into Thunder Mountain is steep and easily driveable in most passenger cars and trucks. The road has curbs along the roadside and wide enough for two cars to comfortably pass. If you prefer a less steep entrance you can access the cabin from the back entrance on Cloudburst Dr. The driveway is flat and comfortably fits up to 4 vehicles.

The hot tub is cleaned after every guest stay. We make sure that everything is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly after every guest stays for your safety.

Logs for the fire pit can be purchased at Publix Grocery Store. The grocery store supplies properly aged and seasoned logs.

We always make sure to check all the appliances and electricals everytime a guest checks out, but in case of mechanical system failures, our handyman service can respond the very next day. We encourage guests to report any damages immediately so we can also act accordingly in a timely manner.

We all hate hidden fees, so no, we do not have hidden fees. Rest assured that when we quote a price, that is all you have to pay. No excesses.

Damage deposit is $500 and is refundable. Our property management software automatically puts a hold on your credit card 3 days before arrival. As long as there are no damages to the property the $500 is refunded automatically three days after your departure.
